Ada Igbo Ireland is a cultural pageant founded in 2016 to celebrate the heritage, language and values of Ndị Igbo among families living in Ireland and across Europe. Alongside Okpara Igbo Ireland, it crowns a young woman as the Ada — the first daughter — and a young man as the Okpara — the first son. Contestants compete in traditional Igbo dress carrying the odu inyinya, and are judged on cultural knowledge, language, talent and conduct both on and off the stage. The pageant is organised by Black and Beautiful Events.
